Position Summary:

Responsible for the overall supervision and management of the Strengthening Foster Children and Families program including oversight of personnel, resources and program components necessary for effective services. Work collaboratively with 14 DCP&P local offices to obtain referrals necessary to meet contractual obligations. Network with community partners and act as an agency leader, responsible for demonstrating core values and interpreting the mission of the Agency in all activities.

Carry a partial caseload of outpatient and/or IIC cases, counseling adults, children and families either inperson or via telehealth.

 

Supervision Exercised:

Responsible for the regular supervision of staff, in accordance with established supervision protocols, providing effective staff and case supervision and enhancing staff's professional development.

Provide oversight of staff productivity.

Ensure staff function in accordance with Program Manual and agency policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

Assign and monitor staff's cases to ensure productivity and level of service benchmarks are being met.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners to generate ongoing referrals to the program.

Ensure staff function in accordance with Program Manual, agency policies and procedures.

Operates conscientiously in accordance with program budget.

Ensure accurate oversight of funding for services and billing.

Conducts routine audits of client charts to ensure quality and accuracy of documentation.

Appropriately and timely communicates programmatic or job related concerns to supervisor and makes suggestions for improvement.

Appropriately and timely communicates performance concerns with staff so they can improve.

Works collaboratively with internal and external peers to create an integrated and holistic system of care for families we serve.

Implements staff training and orientation as required, to ensure staff have the competency and credentials for their positions.

Use PQI data to ensure best practice and further improve program outcomes.

Provide required client session hours and complete related documentation within agency and program protocols.

Partner, as appropriate, with other programs within Acenda and with external partners to ensure a holistic care approach by offering individuals and families comprehensive wraparound supportive services.

Must have a Master's degree in social work, psychology or marriage and family therapy

Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience providing treatment services to families with knowledge of trauma-informed care.

Supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge and experience serving foster, kinship and adoption population preferred

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.

 

Licensure/Certification

Minimum requirement of an active NJ associate license, such as LAC or LSW.

Physical Demands (if applicable)

Must regularly be able to see, speak and hear. Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, bend, use hands and arms and must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Environmental Conditions (if applicable)

Services may be provided remotely via telehealth or in-person.
